Springtime Hikyoga at Roxborough State Park with Kendra

A springtime hike through what’s known as the Garden of the Gods of Denver!
*This is a donation based class with a suggested donation of $15.00
We’ll follow the Fountain Valley Trail through south Denver’s Roxborough State Park making a loop of approxiamtely 2.3 miles in distance. The trail is well known as the “Garden of the God’s of Denver” because of its towering slabs of red rock that make up the best part of the park. Attendees will enjoy views of Lyons & Fountain formations that climb from the valley floor & create a wonderful space for a beautiful hike and striking a pose (or two) on the trail.
Soak up the sunshine on this delightful adventure!
Meeting Location: Be sure to grab a map as you enter the Park & follow the road (& the signage) for the Fountain Valley trail.
Meeting Time: Check-in starts at 9am. We will start promptly at 9:10 am.
Important Details: No yoga mat necessary. Bring water & a few layers as the weather in early April can be tempermental. Restrooms are available at the Visitors Center.
NOTE: A Park fee of $7.00 per vehicle is required but if you have a CO state parks pass the fee is waved. Feel free to make a full day of it with a picnic and by exploring the numerous other trails, etc. that make up this uniquely beautiful State Park.
Directions: From Denver take I-70 west toward Grand Junction & merge onto C-470 toward Colorado Springs. Take the exit onto CO-121, Wadsworth Bld. Turn right toward Chatfield State Park, Waterton Canyon & turn left onto Waterton Rd. Make a right onto N Rampart Range Rd & right onto E Roxborough Dr.
Arrive at 4751 E Roxborough Dr, Littleton, CO 80125.
