Hello! I am Taylor

Certified Hikyoga Instructor | Syracuse

It is my hope, through the use of yoga, that we can all learn how to meet adversity with compassion. Collectively, we create a community that builds each other up and celebrates what life and nature has to offer.

Little about me

A little about me:

Taylor has been a practicing yogi for nearly a decade.  Having been a competitive swimmer, Taylor knew the importance of the physical aspect of yoga.  Throughout high school and college, Taylor would significantly benefit from the asana practice, helping to maintain balance within her body. However, it was during her time in graduate school, as she was studying to become a psychotherapist, that Taylor started to really learn the benefits of the mindfulness practice that often accompanies yoga practice.  It was in this moment Taylor knew that her passion for helping others would be grounded in yogi tradition.

After graduating from Syracuse University, Taylor completed her 200 hour training through Balance Fitness in Rochester.  During her training, she was introduced to Hikyoga.  After having conversations with others, Taylor could see the healing benefits of taking yoga practice outside.  To truly be grounded, we have to remove ourselves from our busy day-to-day lives and allow for our minds to reset.  Being in nature provides yogis of all levels a perfect platform to explore both their physical practice and their mindfulness practice in a deeper, more authentic way.

Taylor cannot be more excited about bringing Hikyoga to Syracuse. To help others take a break from their daily grind to find wide, open spaces to rejuvenate and restore.
